After moving to Los Angeles from the East Coast, Sandy knew she was home. The sun, the beaches, the mountains, the desert plants lining the sidewalks—and, of course, the people—she fell in love with all of it. Originally coming to LA for television work, she spent much of her career casting reality shows like The Bachelor, but also began managing a 19-unit apartment building. Something clicked, and that hands-on experience sparked an interest in real estate, and some deeper thinking about how people really live in this city.
Guiding clients through leases, sales, inspections, contracts, and everything in between, has proved to be both fascinating and meaningful to Sandy, who sees every challenge as an opportunity to learn something new. Besides having been well prepared for some unpredictable twists by her previous work in casting, real estate incorporates her experience working in mental health, which truly deepened her compassion and reminded her of the power of listening. Working in real estate is a natural extension of her drive to help others find solutions that are right for them. Rather than selling people on what she thinks they should want, she listens closely and help them make good choices that resonate with the and fit their life moment.
When she’s not working, you’ll find Sandy at her yoga studio, with her Buddhist sangha, or on the hunt for the best gluten- and dairy-free desserts in LA. She also volunteers with the I Have a Dream Foundation and I AM ALS, and she shares her home with two wildly charismatic cats, Bernadette and Figueroa.
